An independent project — built and maintained by a solo developer. Not affiliated with any of the companies tracked here, any underwriter on any current or planned IPO, and not sponsored by any party with a position in any covered offering.
Why this exists
Late-stage private company information is fragmented. Pitchbook and Crunchbase paywall the data. Bloomberg terminals price out everyone but institutions. Meanwhile, SEC EDGAR has structured data for free — it's just buried in filings nobody parses end-to-end. The Editorial Room maintains an open ledger of that parsed data underneath the personas' columns, organized by company, free for journalists and serious investors to reuse and cite.
